OTIS - Lean, Mean Purring Machine 🐾
Otis came to Forever Friends Animal Rescue from a local cat colony as a scared and skittish little kitten, but over the past month he has completely blossomed into a charming, charismatic little gentleman. Needless to say, Otis has well and truly discovered the luxuries of domestic indoor life, and he has absolutely no intention of going back!
His favourite things in life are treats, dinner, chin scratches (his purr motor starts instantly!), and chasing his favourite toys at top speed. This little guy has some serious athletic ability and will happily somersault, barrel-roll and launch himself through the air in pursuit of a toy. Watching him play is guaranteed entertainment!
Coming from a colony, Otis absolutely adores other cats and has formed a particularly sweet bond with his foster sister, Grace. He loves nothing more than curling up beside her, or, preferably, directly on top of her and will happily sleep as close to her as physically possible. He really thrives with feline company and would be best suited to a home with another friendly, playful cat, or, even better, adopted alongside his beloved foster sister, Gracie.
While Otis has come such a long way, he is still learning that humans and domestic life are safe and wonderful things. He will need a patient, gentle and loving family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him continue to come out of his shell at his own pace.
Once he feels safe, Otis’s cheeky personality really shines through. He is affectionate, playful, curious and full of character, and we know there is an even more confident little man waiting to emerge.
If you’re looking for a handsome little purring machine with a playful streak, a love of feline friends and a heart that is growing bigger every day, Otis might just be your guy ❤️
