Honey - 839

Female Dog aged Adult.

Gentle, affectionate and wonderfully laidback, Honey is the kind of dog who makes fitting into family life look easy.

She’s loyal to her people, fantastic with kids and happiest simply being included. She doesn’t need every day to be packed with huge walks and adventures — Honey is just as content hanging out with the family, pottering around at home or finding a comfy spot nearby for a nap.

She still enjoys getting out for a walk, having the occasional zoomie and chasing a ball, but she has a lovely off-switch too.

Basically, Honey understands that sometimes doing absolutely nothing together still counts as quality time.

🏡 Living With Honey

Honey is relaxed around the home and loves being close to her people.

She’s incredibly affectionate and always seems to have a little tail wag ready for you, but she isn’t a dog who needs constant entertainment. Give her some company, affection and a comfortable place to flop and she’s a pretty happy girl.

She walks nicely on lead and enjoys getting out and about, but she’d also suit a family who may not always have hours to dedicate to exercising a dog every day.

Honey can struggle when left alone for long periods, so while she doesn't need you entertaining her all day, she does prefer having her people around.

💜 Honey’s Perfect Home

Honey would be an especially lovely match for a family wanting a dog who can simply become part of everyday life.

She loves children and would happily be there for the school-day chaos, afternoons at home, weekend outings and evenings on the couch.

She could share her home with a calm male dog who respects her space, or she’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only and keeping all those cuddles for herself.

She doesn't need an ultra-active household. For Honey, being included matters far more than having a packed social calendar.

🐶 Compatibility

Children: Honey loves kids and would make a beautiful family companion.

Dogs: She could live with a calm, compatible male dog or happily be the only dog in the home.

Cats: Unfortunately, Honey finds cats just a little too interesting and has shown chasing behaviour, so she needs a cat-free home.

🐾 A Few Things to Know

Honey is very people-oriented and can find being left alone difficult, so she wouldn’t suit a home where she regularly spends long days by herself.

She might be laidback, but she isn't completely above a burst of silliness. She enjoys the occasional zoomie and loves chasing a ball.

Bringing the ball back, however, appears to be optional.

💛 Honey’s Future

Honey isn't looking for someone to completely rearrange their life around having a dog.

She'd be happiest simply becoming part of the life you already have.

Walks when it's walk time. Cuddles when it's cuddle time. Kids to love, somewhere comfy to sleep and people she can quietly follow through everyday life.

She’s gentle, steady, affectionate and deeply loyal.

Honey doesn't need to be the centre of the family.

She just wants to be part of it. 🍯💛
