Male Dog aged 23 weeks.
Equal parts cheeky playmate and cuddly softie, Frank knows how to keep you laughing before claiming your lap for a nap.
Frank is a young Boxer cross with a sweet heart, a mischievous streak and a knack for being right in the middle of whatever fun is happening.
Don't let the soft exterior fool you - Frank can absolutely hold his own with his bigger brother. In fact, he's quite often the one starting the trouble. He loves a good wrestle, isn't above launching the occasional surprise attack, and will happily zoom away afterwards looking very pleased with himself.
But Frank has another side to him too.
Once the games are over and he's worn himself out, this little guy turns into an absolute softie. He's happiest climbing onto a lap, curling up and falling asleep while his humans provide the comfy furniture.
It's that combination that makes Frank such a lovely little character - confident enough to get amongst the action, but affectionate enough to want to end the day tucked up close to his people.
Living With Frank:
Life with Frank is very much puppy life: play, explore, learn, sleep... and repeat.
He's already settling beautifully into his foster routine and sleeps through the night in his crate. Toilet training is underway, and he's beginning to learn important basics including "sit" and "wait".
Being a young Boxer cross, Frank is playful, people-oriented and full of curiosity. He's at an age where everything is a learning opportunity, so continued training and positive socialisation will be an important part of helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult.
Frank enjoys the company of other dogs and is confident playing with them. A friendly canine companion could be a great match, particularly one that enjoys the enthusiastic play style that comes with having a puppy around.
He hasn't yet been tested with cats or children, so these introductions would need to be considered carefully as he continues growing and learning his manners.
Frank's Perfect Home:
Frank would suit a family who's ready to embrace everything that comes with raising a puppy - the fun parts, the slightly chaotic parts and all the learning in between.
He'd love people who enjoy getting out and about, will include him in everyday family life and are committed to continuing his training and socialisation.
Another playful dog could be a wonderful bonus, although Frank's biggest requirement is simply a family with the time and patience to help him become the best version of himself.
And, ideally, someone with a lap available when his battery finally runs out.
A Few Things to Know:
Frank is still very young, which means his personality and behaviour will continue developing as he grows.
He's learning toilet training, basic cues and all the everyday manners that puppies aren't born knowing. There will inevitably be moments of puppy mischief along the way, and his new family will need to provide consistency, boundaries and plenty of positive guidance.
The good news is that Frank is already off to a lovely start. He's confident, social with other dogs and settling well into his foster home.
Frank's Future:
Frank really does offer the best of both worlds.
He's the cheeky little instigator who'll convince another dog to wrestle with him - and the sweet little boy who'll be fast asleep on your lap not long afterwards.
With a family willing to put the work into his puppy years, Frank has every opportunity to grow into a fun, affectionate and deeply loved companion.
💙 For now, though, he's got games to start, laps to occupy and a whole lot of growing up to do.
